Tools

Keeping a blog updated and readers engaged is a continual process. Tales of Froth is starting to get noticed slowly here in my local city of Bangalore and in a few countries around the world.

Quite a few followers and people I meet in person have asked me what tools I use (no we are not going south of the border for this one).

My philosophy in life is very simple – keep things simple!

I do the pictures, logo & site design myself with simple tools!

Camera: Nexus 5
Tablet: Nexus 7, 2013
Graphics Editing: Picasa, Instagram, Stock Android Tools
Web Browser: Chrome

Graphics: Stock Photos.

Don’t laugh but I still use MS Office Pro 2003 and my laptop is a dinosaur from 2009 – still barely alive. If you’d like to help me get a new laptop, by all means I shall gladly accept.

*Update* – I’ve got myself a new laptop – the Lenovo X240 – a great little machine that’s ultra portable. I wouldn’t mind a video camera though – donations welcome 🙂

WordPress has some great layouts and tools – not the easiest GUI but if you work at it, it will work for you.

 My Other Tools

three young savanna chimpanzees - climbing / pan troglodytes

Content – I write most of the articles myself, if not I have given credit to my external sources. I also get moral support and a few ideas from some of my best friends. In the coming weeks and months, I will be engaging my roving reporters scattered all over this crazy beer filled planet to help me bring more frothiness to you!

  • Sher – putting Belgium on my beer map and for all the help in the last 2.5 months.
  • Thank you to my friends AT, Suds and Sam for all your inputs and fun sessions.

Please, do select one of the options to follow the blog for regular updates – follow my blog facebook page, sign up for blog updates, follow on WordPress or follow my Instagram feed. Constructive feedback is always appreciated – feel free to add your comments below. Thank you and Cheers!

  1. Love your site! I’m a strategic communications consultant in the U.S.,(working on a project now between MIT and DBT in India) who also loves craft beer. I have an FB page (and am building a website) dedicated to women in craft beer, and I found your International Women’s Day story on women who make beer in India. Featured it on my page–check it out. https://www.facebook.com/badassbeerbabes/
