So you’re getting tired of calling your buddies over, having a bunch of beers and ending up with nothing to do. Forget the tv, play a bunch of fun drinking games instead! Here are five different fun drinking games sourced from the Internet. Please remember to play and drink responsibly!

Anchorman (similar to Beer Pong)

Description

Teams compete to see which can make their shots and pound their beer the fastest. Pick your “Anchorman” wisely because they will have the most difficult task.

Equipment

  • 2 teams of four people
  • one pitcher of beer
  • a glass of beer for each player
  • a glass to shoot coins into.
  • a couple of coins

Instructions

Teams sit facing each other in their chosen order, with the Anchormen in the last position. Each player has a full glass in front of them, with the Anchormen having more to drink. The coins start on the opposite end of the Anchors.

When the game begins, the player with the coin attempts to bounce it in their glass. When successful, they pound their beer without removing their mouth from the glass, and pass the coin to the next member of the team. The team that finishes first wins. Obviously, it is important to choose the most proficient drinker as the Anchor for the team.

Century Club

Description

Are you man enough to take a shot of beer every minute for 100 minutes.

Equipment

  • Shot Glasses
  • Clock
  • Beer

Setup

Each player starts the game with a shot glass full of beer.

Game Play

Every participant takes a shot of beer every minute and this continues for 100 minutes. While it may seem easy it at first, it takes dedication and heart to go all 100 minutes. The players who complete the 100 minutes are now members of the century club and have drank roughly 10 beers.

Flip Cup

Description

Teams compete to see which is better at chugging beer and flipping a cup.

Equipment

  • Plastic Cups
  • Flat table
  • Beer

Setup

Two teams stand on opposite sides of a table. In front of each member is a cup full of beer. The players match up against the player across from them.

Game Play

The game starts with the two opposing players at the end of the table going “down, up, down, chug.” This means they put their cup down on the table, and then they touch cups before putting them back down and chugging them. Once a player finishes drinking the beer in their cup, they attempt to flip their cup over. The most popular method is the “two finger flick” but any is acceptable as long as the player is not manually guiding the cup over the whole time. Once one player has successfully flipped their cup, the next player in line chugs their beer and flips their cup. This process continues until one team has successfully flipped all of their cups.

High Or Low

Description

Guess whether the next card will be higher or lower.

Equipment

  • Deck of Cards
  • Beer

Setup

Players gather in a circle and a temporary dealer is chosen at random.

Game Play

The game starts with the dealer flipping over a card to the player on their right. This player must then guess if the next card will be higher or lower. If the player gets it wrong, he/she drinks for the number of seconds corresponding to how far their guess was off. If the player guesses right, the dealer drinks and moves on to flipping a card over for the next player. The dealer is only able to get off the hot seat and pass the deck when three players in a row guess wrong. The game continues in this way until the deck is finished.

Questions

Description

Ask ridiculous questions to others in the game.

Equipment

  • Beer

Setup

Players gather in a circle.

Game Play

The game starts with a player asking anyone a question. This player then asks anyone else a question. This process continues until someone fails to ask a question. This person then drinks. Questions should be as absurd and vulgar as possible to trip up other players into either laughing or answering the question.
